I loved and cared for the characters, particularly Dellarobia and her young son. It is a book that engages at a human and emotional level with global challenges. It made me cry.
I loved this. I found it hard to put down. It made me laugh and cry and made me really address environmental issues. I identified with Delarobia’s restlessness although she comes from a completely different background to me. So it taught me a lot, and not just about monarch butterflies.
