From first starting this book it intrigued and confused me. As the story revealed itself bit by bit it blew me away.
I began to understand the unforgivable and it changed my perspective completely.
It is still to this day the only book I started rereading the moment I got to the last page.
I had heard of Beloved and of course Toni Morrison, but I knew absolutely nothing about the premise of this book before opening it. It was refreshing to read something that was entirely a surprise from beginning to end. The way it’s written transports you into the story and if you let your imagination run a little wold, it will envelop you.
